The Centricity EDI Senior Network Systems Engineer is primarily responsible for management of system connectivity in support of the EDI Clearinghouse datacenter. They will work closely with Systems Engineers, Database Administrators, Application Developers, Tech Support, and Management to design, implement, and support hosted systems in multiple data centers. Thorough understanding of the EDI production environment will be essential.
Network and connectivity support for EDI Revenue Cycle Management applications.
Design, document, develop, test and validate interfaces and/or conversions
Significant work supporting compliance and audit initiatives, including documentation, project leadership and audit execution.
Perform periodic analysis and regular monitoring of network environments.
Recommend and make improvements to the EDI infrastructure.
Provide seamless support and service continuity to our customers.

Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of work experience in enterprise level network or system administration.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with network administration and management.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical area (preferable in CS or EE)
Knowledge of Healthcare information security best practices including HIPAA, HITRUST, EHNAC, SOC, SSAE, and ISO standards.
Active CISSP Certification
Knowledge of healthcare industry systems and applications is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to provide production level support to enterprise class mission critical, highly available network and application infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in LAN, WAN, Security, Network Monitoring, VPN, Routing, Switching, Load Balancing, IPS, Firewall and other networking technologies.
Strong proficiency in design and implementation of networking infrastructure.
Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure for External DNS, Proxies, and Email.
Ability to successfully communicate complex technical concepts to all levels of customers organization
Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows is required for this position. Shell scripting is desired as well.
Ability to work within a diverse, technically oriented, team setting is a must.
Ability to work as a member of cross-departmental project teams will also be necessary.
Willingness to participate in team on-call rotation, and perform off hours work as needed.
Strong technical and project/process leadership skills are required.
