Role Summary: Lead clinical applications for X-Ray and digital applications product development programs.
Essential Responsibilities: •Clinical lead for new & existing NPI programs on GE mobile and fixed-room X-ray systems •Work with marketing and engineering to translate clinical needs into product features and mapping features to clinical benefits •Test and validate products to maintain high quality before they are released •Develop clinical agreements, work goals and feedback mechanisms for usability based clinical evaluation •Work with the cross-functional program team and commercial teams to identify and select high quality sites for clinical evaluation •Provide support and training to clinical sites and acquire feedback from the site to improve the product •Interact with clinical sites after product launch for continued customer feedback and relationships •Develop training material for Field Application Specialist, Clinical Sales Specialists and Sales Specialist. Participate/lead in the training of the specialist •Provide support to downstream marketing for sales tools, collaterals, produce images for shows and presentations, and provide support at healthcare shows •Support IB investigations of reported customer complaints to guide FMI development and engineering enhancements
Qualifications/Requirements: •Associates degree in Radiological Sciences or Radiological Technology, or a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field •At least 3 years of experience with X-ray imaging equipment and related image processing software •Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and standard X-ray imaging protocols
Desired Characteristics: •Bachelor’s Degree in a related technology or clinical field •Hands on experience with GE X-ray systems and applications •Strong quality orientation; Six Sigma Green Belt certified •Strong customer focus and adaptability to changing demands and requirements •Experience with user centered design concepts and their integration into product •Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and accountability for deliverables/actions •Strong written and verbal communications skills demonstrated in the form of publications and/or progress reports •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers in the healthcare industry and engineering and marketing organizations •Ability to understand and speak technical language specific to X-Ray imaging technology
