Role Summary: The Service Engineer Workflow Functional Leader will report to the Digital Service Operations Manager, and operate as a key member of a global team responsible for driving advances in remote service capabilities and performance across the GEHC product portfolio. The role will partner with services digital technology leadership and regions’ leadership to provide operational insight and direction in the design, development & deployment of next generation product remote service workflow solutions
Ensure that operational requirements, best-practice and norms are adequately accounted for in architectural and design deliberations
Guide features prioritization based on objective rankings, and in accordance with region & other stakeholder input
Reconcile diverse regional needs and preferences with process-standardization objectives; broker rational trade-offs and broad acceptance
Develop and promote business cases for investment in technology and features that advance workflow capability and performance
Deliver knowledge and training materials needed to maximize the adoption and efficacy of workflow solutions
Lead deployment planning and delivery to region operations
Establish metrics & reporting that provide visibility to workflow features adoption, and insight into opportunities for improvement. Drive actions to close on shortfalls.
At least 10+ years of business experience; at least 2yrs in a senior management role
Demonstrable ability to develop strategic plans that align with business objectives and account for operating constraints
Experience working with technical and operational teams in the deployment of information technologies to address business needs
Track record of driving the creation and adoption of business process change
Experience in building and managing teams in a global matrix environment
Proven project/program management skills
Previous work experience within the healthcare field service organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence key executive and management stakeholders
