Role Summary: The Shop Hand will report to the shop manager and will play an important role providing service to customers at work site, in and around the area.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Shop Technician, you will:
Be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of pumps while following established guidelines for transportation
Perform tear down and repair of bottom hole pumps, inspection of pumps for corrosion wear & pitting, air testing, and pump out procedures used in the repairs
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety procedures
Perform general shop, shipping, receiving and counter duties as assigned by the Shop Manager or Lead
Maintain warehouse in an orderly manner
Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 1 year of experience in shop and/or mechanical
Work overtime, on-call, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License

Prior experience with pump repair in oil and gas market
