Role Summary: The Sr Staff Technical Product Manager works to bridge technology, customer needs, sales channels, and customer success. This individual will act as a central resource and driving force for the product management processes, product lifecycle management, financials & reporting, and marketing of a suite of Application Platform Services product(s) as they move from conception to distribution, delivering world class offerings that support the growth of GE businesses globally.
The Sr Staff Technical Product Manager role will be responsible for:
Owning the product portfolio for a suite of products and services in Web and Database technologies
Partnering with the Customer Engagement team to manage overall product health, viability, viability, and adoption for a suite of Web and Database products and services.
Defining the roadmap for a suite of Web and Database products and services to maximize customer adoption and customer value.
Developing clear and exciting product positioning, value propositions, and product stories for a suite of Web and Database products, along with the Customer Engagement team, that position CoreTech as the preferred technology supplier for GE business units.
Partnering with the Customer Engagement team to gather customer feedback and align Web and Database product suite offerings to deliver on business outcomes.
Partnering with IT Engineering organization to determine how to maximize a set of Web and Database product offerings and current packaged solutions and services.
Managing the product lifecycle plan and identify resourcing needs, from inception to retirement, for a set of Web and Database products, enabling the Engineering team to focus on delivery of technology solutions.
Leading New Product Introduction (NPI), and all associated functions, including business case validation, positioning, and the development of the strategy for the cost structure of products, service packages, and offerings for a group of GO CoreTech Web and Database products and services.
Communicating with and influencing internal and supplier teams to ensure Web and Database products developed and delivered as per the roadmap and strategic vision.
Building product positioning strategies and influencing the delivery teams to ensure Web and Database products are positioned and implemented as per the vision.
Developing the strategy for the cost structure of a group of products, service packages, and offerings in Web and Database.
Managing the budget and billing models for a set of product lines in Web and Database.
Developing and managing productivity strategies and tracking productivity targets for a set of Web and Database products and services.
Partnering with other product management teams to define a consistent, integrated, holistic product management approach for all products and services.
Facilitating the genesis of solutions in a productive, efficient manner, working across technologies and geographies to deliver customer-focused business outcomes.
Analyzing the external marketplace, customer feedback, and competitors to determine the right product features and benefits in order to maximize productivity for GE businesses.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Finance, Product Management/Marketing, or other technical / IT field, OR in lieu of a degree: a HS diploma/GED and 8+ years of IT experience or equivalent military experience/training
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT application development and support, IT Product Management, and/or IT Financial Modeling
Minimum of 3 years managing IT budgets and preparing financial models for IT product, services and solutions
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering web and/or database solutions.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship management ability.

Able to lead current and evolving initiatives across the matrix, leveraging global resources across verticals, business partners, and vendor resources as needed
Strong business acumen; experience managing financials, budget, operating plans.
Ability to set and drive strategy in a complex business environment where technical requirements are continuously evolving and where technical and business solutions are undefined.
Ability to identify and capitalize on synergies (technical, process, etc.) across the organization in order to maximize the functionality of the technology and drive business solutions.
Deep experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
Proven experience in delivering infrastructure and Cloud solutions.
A track record of successfully delivering products to the market.
Excellent understanding of BI and analytics market.
Experience leading or indirectly leading a team of Product Managers is preferred.
Experience engaging with customers in all phases of the product cycle - from pre-sales to ongoing operational delivery and support.
