Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Senior Production Technology Advisor in Houston, Texas. This role will report into the Gaffney, Cline, & Associates consultancy group which serves the oil and gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of exploration and field development through production and abandonment.

Exploration, development and production evaluation and operations
Field development and rehabilitation
Reserves and resources reporting requirements for statutory reporting or financing purposes
Due diligence property evaluation and valuation for acquisition, divestiture or dispute resolution

Advice to Sovereigns on petroleum licensing, depletion and fiscal policy and maximizing resource potential
Gaffney, Cline & Associates is quickly expanding its global operations and is now seeking talented and motivated professionals to join its dynamic organization.
Develop a North America focused Production Technology offering
Provide production technology input to multi-disciplinary projects, including field development planning, reservoir performance analysis, and reserves estimation and auditing.
Identify injection and production optimization opportunities for existing clients
Support BHGE assessment of upstream integrated project opportunities
Recommend activities such as zonal shut-off, plug-back, stimulation, reactivation, perforation, gas lift valves and workovers for fields managed by BHGE
Support recruitment, mentoring and training activities.
Manage large multi-disciplinary project teams.
Handle special projects, as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience.
Must have experience working in International markets.
Excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results.
Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and have a strong client focus.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Broad range of operational experience, including oil and gas fields, different lift mechanisms, onshore and offshore operations, subsea completions, etc.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base.
Must be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Advanced technical skills, including nodal analysis software and its integration with reservoir and surface facilities models.
Advanced project management skills.
Good organizing, planning, and presentation skills.
Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work.
Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
Ability to work on integrated, cross-functional project teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
