Role Summary: The person in this role is essential in building the economic view (including the risks) of the deal. This is achieved by completing all the modeling activities and providing support for the Inquiry to Order (ITO) team on Contractual Service Agreements (CSA), Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and fixed price offerings.
Responsible for providing direct support for Commercial Operations for modeling and data analysis of offerings, including risk management via the 650.10 (deal review) process.
Responsible for cost and reliability data analysis, running/creating models, and solving complex modeling issues.
Act as the expert modeling resource with a thorough understanding of the interrelationship of costs, pricing, reliability, contract terms and conditions, technology business rules, and related financial accounting. Improve processes by recommending, driving and implementing change to the tools, techniques, etc.
Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.
Contributes to plan of larger unit.
Communicates across direct organization.
Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) on cross functional teams, contributing to overall strategy.
Diverse global clients in both the military and civilian space.
Follows frameworks to get through the processes.
Supports negotiating and addresses client specific conditions.
In addition, a core responsibility is to evaluate the performance of high risk Services contracts.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with demostrable experience in Services of some form) or equivalent knowledge & experience.
Experienced with advanced MS Excel skills (including VBA).
