Essential Responsibilities: • Develop and own sales strategy, lead cross-function teams to identify/chase the opportunities, close projects –deliver the numbers in an uncertain world • Own the Sales, Margin and Orders Operating Plan for Gas Power System business for the assigned customer base in China • Understand the big picture of customers and their projects, dig out customers’ pain points and CTQs, working with teams to develop GE and its partners specific value solutions for the customers • Own the business relationship with assigned customers at all levels • Own customer satisfaction and work with different departments in the business to drive solutions for product issues • Identify opportunities to drive business growth in the gas power market • Understand and analyze market dynamics to recommend product strategy to leadership team • Promote/launch new products in China and drive growth for new segments.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Strong Accountability and self-starter, strong capability to deliver what he/she committed • Open to learn and open to change, demonstrate the willingness to walk out from its comfortable zone • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electric Engineering or related field. • Fluent in both English and Chinese
Desired Characteristics: • Be a thought leader • Demonstrated knowledge of power industry market, products and services. • Proven commercial and sales experiences in closing complex contractual agreements, preferably in power industry. • Strong communication skills and proven ability to effectively lead multi-functional teams. • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs. • High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools. (SFDC, Excel, etc.)
