Role Summary:
Leads, coordinates and manages the execution of the comprehensive marketing plan for the Ultrasound product portfolio and served markets in Europe. Identifies and executes opportunities for growth and share gain, and works closely with Ultrasound Segment GMs to create market/product/portfolio strategy, including product positioning, current portfolio evolution, and installed base growth strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Utilizes Gold Standard marketing practices and skills to develop and execute the marketing plan for the Ultrasound product portfolio across Europe. Responsibilities include market insights gathering, Marketing Plan development, segmentation, targeting and positioning to align messaging, tactics, commercial channel tools and execution for success
  • Employs market research, clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization in developing commercial strategy for a product portfolio in a given region
  • Co-owns launch plans together with Ultrasound Segment GM for new products in the region with appropriate product positioning, segment/region-specific value propositions and distribution strategies
  • Key contributor to the Ultrasound Region strategy, Ultrasound Region Growth Playbooks and SII with the goal of achieving growth and market share objectives. Collaborates with Regions / Segments and Europe marketing to develop the regional market forecast
  • Understands customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought. Prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities in conjunction with global product marketing and P&L leaders. Ensures regional marketing plans & execution are aligned with global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) to grow orders and share
  • Responsible for all demand generation and awareness activities for Ultrasound in Europe (including trade shows, customer events, advertising, digital campaigns, telemarketing campaigns, and promotions). Works with Marketing Communications and PR to develop and execute marcom plans. Responsible for capturing and reporting upon relevant metrics
  • Develops programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and clinical evidence where appropriate
  • Provides regional input to business cases for products/upgrades that are at concept stage, work with Global Product marketing, Business Analysis and Global Design to articulate unique regional needs for new product ideas
  • Develops Life Cycle Marketing Strategy and implementation plans across Ultrasound segments including loyalty programs/clubs
  • Leads Win/Loss analytics and reporting across Europe Ultrasound segments, coordinating with Global Marketing programs
  • Responsible for ensuring the local commercial organizations (Sales Specialists/Indirect partners) have the right tools and training to sell and manage product configurations and portfolio effectively
  • Owns and further develops the customer education strategy and operations (from Face to Face to Online)
  • Defines and implements an effective lead generation and qualification systems across the Europe Ultrasound portfolio

    • Healthcare product/industry acumen
    • Strong experience in Marketing or Commercial
    • Broad range of Marketing skills: from strategic Mktg (product positioning, life-cycle mgmt, future offerings) to commercial Mtkg (launch, customer activation, distribution models…) to digital marketing (demand generation, customer loyalty…)
    • Influencing skills: ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence for commercial teams and at the Executive level
    • Clear communicator: able to translate complex situations into easy-to-understand elements
    • Change mgmt: proven record of assessing the need for change, developing and implementing change
    • Innovative: develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
    • EU Work Permit

  • Excellentes connaissances du secteur/des produits de soins de santé
  • Solide expérience dans le domaine marketing ou commercial
  • Nombreuses compétences dans le domaine Marketing : du marketing stratégique (positionnement produit, gestion du cycle de vie, offres à venir) au marketing commercial (lancement, activation client, modèles de distribution…), en passant par le marketing digital (création de demande, fidélisation des clients…)
  • Capacités d’influence : capacité à motiver les autres et à exercer une influence au sein de l’organisation pour les équipes commerciales et de direction
  • Communication claire : capable de transformer des situations complexes en éléments faciles à comprendre
  • Gestion du changement : compétences reconnues d’identification du besoin de changement, du développement et de la mise en place de changements
  • Innovation : capacité à développer de nouvelles idées par le biais de la collaboration, et à mettre en œuvre des idées créatives
  • Permis de travail européen

Desired Characteristics:


  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Very strong experience in marketing, product management or related field
  • Deep marketing expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialization, branding, new product introduction process, product life-cycle management, and pricing
  • Domain expertise in Ultrasound
  • Previous experience managing a global brand in a commercial team
  • Experience in cultivating indirect channel relationships

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Expertise dans le domaine de l'échographie
