Role Summary: Supply Chain Specialist procures materials for manufacturing and shipment of the final product. This includes identifying and ordering the proper quantity, and shipment terms and overseeing the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for scheduling and receiving shipments of raw materials as well as scheduling manufacturing. You will also assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies and be responsible for responding to criticality in terms of change in demand and solving problems that could arise. Your essential responsibilities will be:
Production Planning and scheduling
Management and organization of logistics processes
Forecasting and management for spare parts to anticipate criticality
Supervising the suppliers to ensure the quality
Identifying opportunities to improve the productivity
Collaboration with Quality to guarantee the alignment and integrity with Quality System
Active collaboration with other department like sourcing and Engineering to improve cost and/or efficiency
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or Computer Science
Diploma (only if with experience)
Experience in Supply chain or Sourcing in the field of Electro mechanic
Knowledge of ERP System
EU Work Permit
Experience using SAP
Knowledge of logistics processes with focus on material procurement process on Electronic components/Electrical elements
Showing proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specially in Excel
Good English written and speaking
Ability to work with cross functional teams in a global environment
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
