Role Summary: The Network Cyber Security Engineering Specialist will be responsible for measuring, tracking and reporting compliance of the network devices to corporate security standards. The scope of the role includes maintenance of management tools, report generation, defect tracking and issuing corrective actions.
Utilize the Skybox compliance tool to deliver reports and track defects against corporate standards.
Perform system administration functions for Linux and Windows based software systems
Ensure consistency and correctness between firewall compliance tracking and risk management tool set.
Actively collaborate with GE businesses representatives in understanding high risk configurations and providing remediation guidance to reduce risk to GE
Be capable of understanding and automating manual process in either a hands on data analysis or project management role
Perform detailed configuration analysis of network systems to find high risk configurations
Oversee daily operations of compliance tools, ensure continued availability of responsible software/hardware systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience
