Role Summary: Support & facilitate CN offshore business by developing & maintaining relation with government & customers, strengthening LM offshore image & monitoring & analyzing offshore market, formulating market strategy plan Define, develop & implement offshore marketing & branding plan in China, identify & plan actions for passing offshore value proposition of LM to target audience Build & develop network & strategic relationship with government in target offshore provinces & with Top 10 end users
Essential Responsibilities: Develop & maintain strong relationships with senior decision makers in Chinese Energy Department (at national and key offshore province regional level) /Wind Association/IPPs/Industry Experts relevant to wind business to develop wind related strategies, programs and resource plan to meet China overall growth strategies and strategic segments priorities Build strong relations with Offshore developers and investors, SOE Utilities, and provincial IPP. Map key stakeholder by province and build long term relationship with key decision makers. Lead press campaigns around LM products in specialized and general press for targeted provinces. Prepare lobbying plan to key wind decisions maker, including the delivery of key well-structured presentation around LM capabilities in offshore. Regular update meeting with Chinese end users to review offshore market development and market LM offshore value proposition Actively participate in trade/commercial related bodies and various programs to establish critical contacts with industry association, peer companies to promote and expand offshore wind business opportunity; Develop the competitive analysis and establish benchmarks for offshore product and service offering. Prepare the Beijing trade show every year, and seek to expand LM visibility in offshore China environment, exploring additional trade show in Asia (China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan) Preparing trade show ahead identifying key stakeholder to meet as per various global function need. Issue detailed report with concrete actions and plan. Follow up on execution of actions Monitor and analyze China’s offshore wind value chain by delivering intelligence report across policy makers, OEM, IPPs, competitors and other suppliers on a regular basis Work with global BMI and monitor global offshore wind dynamics; Continue to support on 20% basis the BMI work for China related market developments Manage and work with third party information providers to compile and integrate external source. Formulate recommendation on steps to make to capture higher business. Prepare unique China offshore value proposition with a comprehensive marketing plan aiming at increasing the perceived value of LM product (in order to aim for higher price). Prepare material for various management meetings (Board, MT, Customer management meeting). Build value base pricing strategy for offshore products together with engineering and commercial team.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Masters Preferred, or equivalent on the basis of proven track record 10 years in wind related business, marketing intelligence, business development experience Fluent English
