Role Summary: The Leasing Sales Specialist will directly & proactively maximize finance volume & sales penetration (% Available) of GE Healthcare small ticket equipment sales via the GEHC Product Sales Specialists in their assigned sales territory & business segments. The role directly originates & closes financial transactions with new, existing & former customers within an assigned target market to develop new business, & retain & penetrate existing business.
Essential Responsibilities: Role Summary Cont'd: Active coordination and partnering with the HEF Senior Program Manager, and other commercial resources in the assigned territory, will also be paramount to driving equipment sales growth and finance penetration (%A) for GE Healthcare and HEF.
Drive wing-to-wing sales process including customer prospecting, lead generation, making sales calls, analyzing data, preparing proposals and credit packages, negotiating price or other terms, and coordinating onboarding and ongoing relationships with customers.
Provide financing options and close small ticket / flow transactions in a high volume, fast paced, competitive environment. Price loans and leases using HEF Pricing Model assumptions and prepare Customer proposals. Properly document and process all leasing transactions leveraging HEF small ticket capabilities to drive efficiency.
Achieve or exceed annual volume, return, finance penetration targets (%A) for assigned GEHC modality PSSs, including both direct originations as well as those facilitated by the Senior Program Manager for assigned geography.
Build and maintain relationships with assigned PSSs. Perform monthly outbound prospecting activities to assigned reps, interact and strategize with PSS to understand and anticipate customer objections, and properly structure and propose transactions to win.
Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, retention and profitability of accounts and optimize market penetration.
Mine GEHC’s salesforce.com pipeline and HEF’s Installed Base (IB) to identify, propose and close financing opportunities for small ticket transactions
Engage directly with end user customer to address finance related questions and concerns as well as “sell” the HEF value proposition and lease offering to the end-user customer.
Identify/elevate larger cross segment and cross modality opportunities to Senior Program Manager and/or FSAMs, and support bringing these deals to closure from customer award through equipment delivery and funding.
Partner with cross functional teams in order to facilitate the execution of deals. Work closely with HEF risk and operations to drive proper documentation and ensure seamless transfer of high volume transactions.
Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) with all activities, opportunities, Anticipated Funding Dates, and campaign codes. Provide accurate quarterly forecasting of flow volume.
Actively participate in quarterly cross functional reviews identifying opportunities to improve HEF offerings. Work collaboratively with other team members to surface ideas and develop financing options to support segment specific Ultrasound offerings in the small ticket space.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required (or high school diploma/GED)
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience (or minimum of 5 years of transactional experience in financial services).
Knowledge of credit/financial principles and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other business-related curriculum.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the leasing industry
Knowledge of industry-related financial analysis, credit, and legal principles.
Knowledge of Equipment Finance, pricing and lease structures
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding Goals & Objectives
Strong influencing and relationship building skills. Strong communication style, business judgment, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated self-motivation and professional interactions cross functionally, and ability to work collaboratively with key personnel in Sales, Finance, Risk, Operations, Asset Management, Legal, Capital Markets and other supporting functions.
