Role Summary:
Determine the commercial credit worthiness of GE customers within an industrial business(s) and considering aggregate parent risk exposure globally. Leverage the current risk models and gather additional data to perform analytics to; calculate risk scores, recommend commercial credit limits, determine credit terms, input key data customer set up in receivable system, credit order release, while meeting service level agreements that enable the industrial businesses commercial teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform timely credit risk analysis and order release on new and existing commercial customers as prompted by queuing structures or management direction leveraging multiple sources of data used in providing a recommended commercial credit limit
  • Maintain high standards of data quality within the data sets for credit risk models and external reporting
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager or applicable leadership


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Undergraduate student (7+ semesters taken)
  • Basic understanding commercial Risk Management techniques, concepts and business practices
  • High degree of comfort working with technology, systems of record, data warehouses and utilization of advanced reporting tools
  • Financial analysis knowledge and skills
  • Excellent PC skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
