General controllership for Mexico operations reporting to LATAM pole controller.
Monitors and analyzes changes in statutory laws; communicates related impact on prices to product teams and recommends required system changes.
Responds to inquiries from internal sales teams and/or clients to clarify invoice taxes
Analyzes risk on non-standard contracts and transactions
Monitors legacy operations litigation and coordinates requested documentation
Review account reconciliations to be aligned to GE MAPs and GAPs
Balance Sheet Review follow up and changes
Reconcile and clearing balances for legacy entities
Mexico Finance operations follow up for Commercial and Manufacturing divisions
Review and align processes for intercompany payments
Business contact for internal and external auditors
Standardize processes for accounting, reconciliation, material returns and intercompany operations
Revenue recognition operations and supervision, projects contract review and approval
Risk assessment on for all accounts
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA; minimum of 5 years combined experience in a public accounting firm of national repute and industry experience with large multinational firm;
Tax, internal audit or finance experience or graduate of GE FMP or GE CAS
Proven management and organizational experience
Leadership presence/skills (e.g., clear-thinker, decisive, influential); proven ability to challenge processes and implement improved working methods
Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
