Role Summary: As a software architect you are required to contribute and drive next generation Imaging based on GPU solutions for XRay. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership on multiple projects. You will lead the design and development of next-generation solutions, applying in-depth knowledge of Multi Processing, Multi Threading & Advanced GPU Knowhow for better and faster data acquisition protocol technologies and solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will: 1) As a Software Architect you need to understand the big picture of business needs for the X-Ray product line, work with partners and internal/external stakeholders across the business to understand market needs & vision and quickly translate that vision into demonstrable software products. 2) As a committed Software Architect, incorporate standards & best practices for scalable and sustainable architecture, Full-stack architecture skills covering containerization, micro-services, database, messaging and modern UI applications are expected 3) Being a part of the development team you need to understand & balance out technical requirement & business priority by contributing and providing great technical mentoring to diverse group of engineers. 4) As a Software Architect, you should be able to balance feature and functionality, quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, compliance and cost 5) As a technical leader, you should be able to conduct Software Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) on assigned projects and achieve final sign from stakeholders on concepts, designs and implementation. 6) As a Software Architect, you should collaborate with project management on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits. You should meet with project leaders and engineering leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirement
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) • A minimum of 8 years technical experience (include technical experience) . • Indepth experience of atleast 3 years of using GPU and CUDA for algorithm acceleration is a must.
