Role Summary: Assist in the execution of the strategy, future direction, and product roadmap delivery for GE’s IAM technology solutions. To help create secure, standardized and automated IAM environments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with IAM systems and be familiar with the entire lifecycle (joiner, mover, leavers) of access management for internal and external users across various platforms, databases, privileged access, reconciliation, cloud and integration with credential stores.
May be viewed as an Identity & Access Management subject matter expert
Is an expert within the IAM function and is readily acknowledged internally and externally as an expert in the discipline
Have good knowledge of how Identity Management contributes to the broader Cyber Security strategy
An understanding of the competitive landscape in the Identity & Access Management field
Make complex judgments based on analytical thought and interpretative thinking in order to develop innovative solutions
Influence engagements and decision making with external parties
Negotiates with external parties and has influence over terms and conditions
Communicates solutions across the Identity Management function and with cross-functional partner organizations and GE Businesses
Presents product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) within Cyber Security and to senior Security leaders across GE
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 8 years with relevant professional experience in Identity and Access Management, and Cyber Security
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
Must be willing to travel less than 25% of the time
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Glen Allen, VA or Cincinnati, OH
Experience with software development and delivery processes
Experience in application development using Java and other relevant web technologies.
Good understanding of protocols and systems like LDAP and UNIX, Linux and systems like Active Directory, CyberArk, SAP
Experience with any Identity Manager: Oracle Identity Manager or Sun IDM, Sail Point, etc.
Experience with Single Sign-On Solution: Ping Federate, Oauth2.0
Experience with Directory servers: Unbound ID/Ping, CA, Radiant Logic, Oracle
Experience with an Application/Web Server: WebSphere, Jboss, Weblogic, Tomcat
