Role Summary: The Sr. Staff Enterprise Application Engineer will be responsible for the next phase of Enterprise Directory plans and services for GE! This position will manage the implementation and maintenance of various virtual directories and directory consolidations of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. They will manage a data attribute governance model and provide problem management guidance for escalated application issues, ensuring the root cause of the problem is addressed.
Responsible for delivering highly available services through entirely automated processes.
Has the vision to integrate it across multiple systems.
Understands upstream and downstream data considerations and ensures continuity of Digital Thread. Works independently and is seen as a technical leader.
Is responsible for driving the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability and performance in alignment with the product/service roadmap.
Proven track record of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation.
Provides expertise in design, architecture, delivery and optimization.
Leads impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations and implementation strategy.
Expert in providing oversight, mentoring team members and leading large delivery efforts.
Experienced in effectively delegating work.
Deep understanding of the market and competing 3rd party product offerings.
Demonstrates the ability of benchmarking against competition.
Expert level skills in building value proposition with total customer focus.
Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations.
Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks.
Expert level skills in design, architecture and delivery, with an ability to take a deep dive in the implementation aspects if the situation demands.

Leads the efforts across the vendor product(s) suite and is an expert in enterprise solutions.
Understands capability of 3rd party enterprise solutions in order to make sound decisions around configuring software vs engineering software.
Understanding of business process to determine how to optimize both process and utilization of enterprise applications, and ability to influence key cross-functional stakeholders on appropriate course of action.
Leads design of programmatic capabilities for all aspects of service operability.
Expert in core data structures and interfaces for information exchange across platforms.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in software domain
Experience with identity, privileged account frameworks, and related technologies including but not limited to; Radiant Logic, Virtual Directory, Authorization & Authentication protocols and capabilities
Experience with opensource authentication protocols and related technology including OpenID Connect, oAuth2.0, and SAML
Experience with relational and NoSQL database development and related technologies
Experience with directory based technologies and LDAP protocols
Experience with common development practices including CI/CD pipelines, test automation, agile development, distributed version control, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
