Role Summary: Healthcare is the next industry facing the wireless and mobile revolution. GE Healthcare has in Helsinki worldwide center of excellence for designing of wireless patient monitoring solutions. We make healthcare affordable and accessible all over the world. We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop embedded software with a team of medical technology professionals.
Essential Responsibilities: Your role is to develop firmware software that acquires data from custom design processors, processes data for wireless transfer and visualization of parameters. Developing requirements, test cases, unit tests and design documentation.
Bachelors education in software engineering
Good understanding of low level embedded hardware (ARM M-core) and real time operating systems
Experience in C and C++ programming
Familiar with Agile software development methods
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
EU work permit.
Knowledge on IAR, GCC, and CMAKE build environment
Knowledge on GIT
Knowledge on bootloaders and sw update process
Knowledge on measurement principles, and technologies for continuous data aquisition
