Role Summary:
This role will be part of Finance Systems Reporting & Transformation Global COE team, primarily focusing on driving systems utilization, digitization and automation on business using SAP ERP.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
• Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.
• Review, and critique Use Cases and detailed specification of key business rules
• Create & review Process flow diagrams, Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation Application Gap analysis.
• Determine feasibility of business User's request functionality and business rules based on SAP Core functionality.
• Lead product evaluations, and Proof of Concepts.
• Work across multiple projects and systems to develop, communicate, and mentor others on SAP’s best design and implementation standards, guidelines, best practices
• Engage with current support owners in GAMS / other support teams to provide feedback and drive improvements
• Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement permanent fix
• Manage the milestone for small to medium projects
• Maintains functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area’s systems, organization, and business processes
• Provide direction and guidance to other members of the team with possibility to manage and lead other SAP professionals.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Able to coordinate with technical teams to create/develop functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, and Enhancement Objects

Qualifications/Requirements:
• MBA/CA or equivalent with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Functional expertise in SAP FICO module and working knowledge of Materials Management and Sales & Distribution modules
• Analytical, creative and business focused problem solver
• Flexible mindset to learn and work across business domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization

Desired Characteristics:
• Business Reporting tools experience such as usage of Business Objects
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
• Project management experience with multi-national resources
• Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
• Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
• Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP
• Experience working in a matrixed environment
• Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
• Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
