Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for programing a feature and or a small feature set. Contribute to the team and work with direction from the Senior Team Members or management but work independently. Act as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design and development practices. Develop high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end web applications. Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Write codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and 2 years experience in related occupation are required. The position also requires: 2 years experience with Java or Java Script; 2 years experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); 2 years experience with Extreme Programming (XP); 1 year experience with Continuous Integration (CI); 2 years experience with Documentation Practices; 1 year experience with refactoring; 2 years experience with Testing Techniques; 1 year multi-threading experience; 2 years object oriented experience; 1 year network protocols experience; 2 years web technologies experience; and 1 year configuration management experience.
