Region Finance Leader will have the responsibility for leading end-to-end finance activities in the region, including structuring deals and financing solutions, risk underwriting, FP&A, supply chain as well as partnering with General Manager for LATAM for effective management of the region.
Lead all commercial finance activities, including financial risk identification and mitigation and partner with commercial team for profitable growth.
Partner with GGO, GE Capital Industrial Finance & Current Project Finance team for achieving profitable growth in the region.
Build relationships with banks and financial institution to design effective solutions for customers financial needs.
Own and lead pricing and payment term decisions.
Lead financial analysis for various segments of the region for profitable growth at country, go-to-market player, and key projects/productline level.
Drive Sales, Orders & Backlog numbers / QMIs for both GM, HQ & GGO. SFDC maintenance & tracking.
Lead AR and Past Due mitigation through coordinating with WCS on factoring strategies, commercial oversight and process improvement.
Drive Distribution channels credit & risk analysis Lead hard collections on customers past due.
Participate in design and implementation of incentive plans and calculations.
Lead SII/BP/OP cycles for LAM region.
Support and proactively bring new ideas to boost sales.
Drive process improvement and compliance mindset throughout the region.
Oversee end to end financial processes for the region.
Span of control: Direct: 3 Analysts; Indirect: This position is expected to be the financial partner for region leader for Current.
Proactive and able to work under pressure (negotiation & strategy).
Bridge builder with Commercial teams, Banks & Senior Management.
Driven to win, with a can-do attitude.
Banks & financing experience is desirable but a quick learner even more.
Customer focus & solution oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and partner with CommOps and Sales.
Demonstrated ability to understand the risks arising from contracts.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the strategic agility to work harmoniously within a team as both a leader and a contributor.
