Role Summary: The EHR Coach will serve as the first point of contact for a defined population of managers and employees to provide advice, coaching and other day to day client HR support as required. This role is critical in executing key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. They will develop and implement projects to ensure effective, consistent, high-quality HR process improvement and implementation.
Essential Responsibilities: In addition, this role will provide coaching and mentorship to members of the HRM team, they will be responsible for keeping a pulse on workload, training needs and client satisfaction to ensure long term success of the HRM team.
• Provide dedicated EHRM support and guidance for a defined population of managers and employees with specific focus on: Employee advocacy/engagement, HR policy/procedure training, employee relations management, performance development, recruitment, compensation, and workplace investigations. • Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners. • Oversee change projects within region such as restructuring, changes to terms & conditions/ benefits, and other large-scale employee-facing projects as needed. • Partner with HR Business Partners, EHRM’s and Organization and Talent Development professionals to execute business-specific HR strategies • Develop and implement customized training plans for employees based on specific needs Provide day to day leadership and guidance to the EHRM team • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed. • Act as a coach to EHRMs to build employee resource management capabilities, reduce complexity and partner with their clients to maximize business performance. • Partner with EHRMs and local leadership to attract, select and retain key talent within region • Manage assignment and work distribution to ensure optimal application of talent resources • Coach, council and provide candid constructive feedback to members of the EHRM team. • Create and maintain a positive, collaborative and open team environment.
Qualifications/Requirements: • In-depth understanding of HR concepts and principles gained through formal education and substantial work experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field • Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders • Prior experience leading a team of professionals • Coaching and leadership assessment experience • Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and create a positive, team-oriented culture • Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed • Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels • Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness • Capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion • Supportive team player with ability to diffuse a tense situation • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills
