Role Summary:
In this role, you will lead the Steam Power core services flow activity for North Asia, driving the wing to wing ITO & OTR performance and being accountable for profitable growth, execution and cash.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Responsible for business and sales growth leadership for the entire Steam Power flow/core services
* Lead the sales team and determine / create customer needs, solve business problems through consultative approach, develop strategic sales/ business plans and be responsible for delivering revenue, margin and penetration commitments
* Accountable for the assigned sub-region’s financial performance of Multi-years Services Agreements & Transactional contracts, by leading and coordinating the local team and support functions to achieve business goals & objectives.
* Drive portfolio growth, initiate execution cost strategies and manage all levels of customer relationship and events, take lead on customer issues resolution, warranty, and deliver & be accountable for customer satisfaction with GE EHS/Quality/Productivity performance.
* Develop influential relationships with customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers. Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
* Guide the team to operate and comply to critical processes, in order to meet required operation metrics rigor/timing, financial deliverables and effective contract management.
* Interface with Parts, Fieldcore and other functional organizations to make sure customer expectations are met.
* Ensure GE processes and policies are compliant within the country on all business aspects: Quality Assurance; Tax Compliance; Revenue Recognition; Import-Export; Past due & inventory; Proper & timely billing; EHS and others as required.
* Lead and manage the portfolio’s operations team, primarily through the Customer Service Leaders (CSL) , Customer Fulfilment Managers (CFM), Outage Managers (OM) and on site technical support.
* Work closely with the technical support team, including commercial operations, finance, product support, engineering and others in the implementation of customer strategies
* Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that GE wins profitable services sales within the assigned customers and ensure close working relationships with product sales
* Be voice of the customer and promote a customer centric mindset
* Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the core services commercial & execution team to attract, retain, grow and build a talent pipeline.

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a Business or Engineering discipline
* At least 10 years of sales/commercial & execution experience, of which at least 5 must be in the power generation industry
* Ability to travel regularly

Desired Characteristics:
* At least 5 years’ experience managing direct reports
* Ability to develop influential customer relationships, plans, sales strategies, presentations, and proposals
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to define and implement strategic plans, set a vision and rally support around that vision
* Strong track record of sales, sales leadership & execution results, preferably in a services environment
* Excellent technical & product knowledge of gas and steam turbine generating technologies.
* Strong communication skills at all business levels including senior leadership
* Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong financial management skills
* Strong customer mindset
* Knowledge of market economics, competitive issues, technology and projects
* Understanding of multi-year agreements and its economics would be advantageous
