Role Summary: LED Lamp PM team is comprised of 2 North American product managers, including the open position to manage $114.5MM in sales generated from 481 products in 13 families.
This role will be responsible & essential for leadership of LED tubes & plugins which will generate $84MM in sales & $27MM in margin for the LED Platform team in 2018.
LED Tubes and Plugin represent high growth categories (+30% in 2017) requiring a strong product manager to :
1) develop and execute the long term product line strategy
2) With the support of a predominantly technology team located in Asia, manage the significant NPI funding ($2MM I&E) necessary to generate margin accretive, differentiated product
3) Continue to leverage differentiation to grow share in the professional LED market
4) Work closely with Supply Chain to generate forecasts, expedite raw material and finished goods supplier, primarily in Asia, to deliver product on time, manage slow moving inventory, and effective SKU transitions
5) Drive the product strategy to end users, distributors partners, agents, both for channel & project demand
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, marketing or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management or Technology Management
Strong abilities to work with cross-functional teams, help create consensus, and drive execution
Excellent planning, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities
Strong communication skills and commercial leadership
Strong oral and written communication skills
