Role Summary: As an Operations Engineer for problem management aligned to GE Healthcare, you will apply your knowledge of ITIL, organizational process and application support to increase application availability and stability. This position will be responsible and act as a focal point for customer concerns and drive critical issues in GE Healthcare environments to a close.
Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program
Clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management
Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s)
Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s)
Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization
Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support and maintenance teams
Drives and is accountable to define and support operational models as aligned to Global Initiatives

Bachelor’s Degree. Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university preferred
Very strong IT experience with four years project/program management or equivalent
Eligibility Requirements: Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bangalore, Michigan, Milwaukee, Poland
Experience with process quality methodology
Experience with ITIL and ITSM
Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
Project management experience in global environments
Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority
Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.

Understands architecture standards concepts to apply to project work.
