Role Summary: The purpose of this role is to manage the availability of materials for our Collision Avoidance System (CAS) and Drill Guidance System (DGS) Contracted Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) and administration of the DGS CMO contract.
Essential Responsibilities: • Management of the CMO contract for the successful delivery of our DGS equipment, parts and services • Procurement and expediting the supply of raw materials to the DGS CMO • Other direct and indirect purchasing for the Australian spoke as required • Assist with the planning and oversight of raw material holding for our CAS CMO • Ensuring the timely placement of manufacturing POs on the CMOs • Co-ordinating with CMOs regarding product delivery to GE • Co-ordinating delivery to customer sites • Liaising with CMOs regarding reporting and operational matters • Sharing CMO performance reports with DMT leaders • Document control of all engineering and manufacturing documentation between GE Engineering and the CMO • Other ad hoc material planning and product delivery tasks
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience) • Minimum of 5 years of materials planning, sourcing, quality, contract management or operations experience • Willingness and ability to regularly travel to CMO site in Newcastle regionAbility to partner across multiple functions including materials, sourcing, operations, engineering and quality • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational skills • Strong financial, quantitative and data analysis skills • Strong project management and process improvement skills • Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a cross-functional, multi-site, global team environment • Strong oral and written communication skills • Well developed interpersonal and leadership skills
