Role Summary: Working closely with the Civil and Military teams, the key focus of this role is to support the development of services products and cost out initiatives. The role will embed tools digitally, be involved in long term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Cost Out/Avoidance: Identify major cost drivers across P&L and develop and support cost out/avoidance projects. Identify services cost out opportunities, identifying projects, processes and plans to execute on cost reductions.
Services Product development: Work with civil and military services PMs to define services products across platforms. Roll out work scope exercise across civil platforms and into Military platforms. Work with IT, Sales and MROs to develop closed loop reporting to track progress and benefits. Pivoting if required.
Long Range forecasting: Working with Civil and Military services PMs, develop tool to support integrated planning across MROs, FSRs and satellite sites. Complete tool and roll out process as part of regular GPB/SII planning. In conjunction with Services Product Development, conduct strategic analysis of services offerings and associated business impact, integrating with existing financial models and cycles.
Short Range Forecasting & Delivery: Develop quarterly forecast and identify risks and opportunities, work with PM team to develop and execute on mitigation plans to ensure OP targets are met/exceeded quarterly. Also reduce forecast volatility. Embed tools and processes within IT systems to automate process.
Digital Implementation: Support Digital Services leader to ensure that digital services tools integrate with product delivery.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge & experience
Strong commercial/business acumen
In depth understanding of business financial models, including change impact analysis
Proven analytical skill set & strategic mind-set
Demonstrated leadership & ability to influence in a cross-functional, matrix team environment
