Role Summary: The Product Commercialization Leader will be responsible for all aspects of product marketing and commercialization in the Product Solutions business unit of GE Industrial Solutions. This leader must be data-driven and assess both current and evolving market and customer needs to drive the best product design. You will also collaborate closely with product, commercial and customer excellence teams to build and execute compelling content and winning go-to-market strategies.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Product Commercialization Leader, you will:
Lead and manage commercialization efforts of existing products and NPI programs, including VOC, product launches, go-to-market strategies, content, sales enablement, and digital tools
Define product category and assess market, customer opportunity value and content needs
Own all aspects of competitive intelligence for the product category (position, value-differentiators, price, portfolio SWOT, etc)
Collaborate with Segment and local Field Marketing teams to gather intelligence and build effective go-to-market strategies and offerings
Build and maintain relationships with launch partners and end-users
Sustain ongoing promotion and product documentation with an optimal omni-channel marketing mix
Develop and manage the marketing infrastructure ecosystem (budgets, suppliers, etc) maximizing effectiveness and ROI
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or product management.
Advanced Degree in Engineering or Technical degree from an accredited university or college
An excellent understanding of Marketing and Commercial functional disciplines
Able to formulate business strategies in creating and implementing proven successful strategies for creating demand
Outstanding communication, presentation, project management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel
A personal style that is viewed as open-minded and collaborative
