Role Summary: The Ashalim Solar Plant project is looking for a Lead Planner. As the lead Planner you shall manage the site planning & scheduling activity, be a key member of the project’s management team, providing comprehensive reporting, planning & analysis related to the progress of the project, alongside driving the set up and improvement of processes & tools within your scope. Fixed term contract for 6 months.
Essential Responsibilities: • Drive and own planning processes, to drive accurate short and long term forecasts and deliver solid estimates • Prepare site-specific procedures for Planning and functional support, as needed • Coordinates with Project Management, Partners, Subcontractors and Owner to obtain and validate progress and schedule data, to accurately maintain and update the schedule • Co-ordinates internal and external interfaces & activities to ensure timely execution of the project • Generate periodic time schedule reports, identify delays and critical paths, and recommend recovery scenarios and acceleration schedules • Leads Weekly and monthly schedule review meetings and interactive planning and accurate forecast assessments • Facilitates Procurement and Sub-Contracts department by means of interface with execution teams • Maintains history of site project execution in terms of Return of Experience documents for future projects and contractual purpose such as claim resolution • Updates weekly and monthly installed quantity curves • Partner with projects management team and finance to provide support for management decision making process to meet project’s schedule and deadlines
Qualifications/Requirements: • Certified Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar position, working in a large scale infrastructure project • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Primavera and other planning tools • Previous experience working in an international company • Extensive work experience in planning positions • Advanced communication skills in English, both verbal and written • Strong analytical skills
