Role Summary: We are looking for a strong and competent DevOps Engineer to join our talented LS Commercial & Digital DevOps Team to support technical solutions on our Sitecore web property. The individual needs to have a solid understanding of the Microsoft Windows OS and will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and the software release processes.
Essential Responsibilities: As a DevOps Engineer you’ll be responsible for working closely with our in-house development team, QAs and wider delivery teams.
Essential responsibilities include:
Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server OS and Internet Information Services (IIS)
MS SQL Server administration, tuning and configuration
Software release processes support
Monitoring, preventing and troubleshooting security related issues
Ensuring proper monitoring is in place for all environments
Continuous enhancement of software development infrastructure: continuous integration and delivery, cloud services (AWS) etc.
Practical application of TeamCity, Chef, Puppet and Ansible
Effective troubleshooting of complex issue
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical / IT field, or similar related industry experience.
Strong experience as a DevOps/Platform engineer
Strong sense of ownership
Very good command of English – spoken and written
Familiar with Sitecore CMS
Previous experience with Solr, Git, Octopus Deploy and MongoDB
