Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for programming a feature and or a small feature set. Provide technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Work with product management, clinical analyst and product owners for product requirements. Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards. Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminate duplication, leverage product and technology reuse. Write code that meet standards and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected for the project, utilize techniques like pair programming, to ensure the highest quality code. Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation and support continuous-integration process. Assess application performance. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen. Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining; support activities. Coach, mentor and lead other team members. Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products. Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product, Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
Qualifications/Requirements: The primary requirements are a Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any), and Math], and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any), and Math], and three (3) years of experience in related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires: 3 years of experience in software development related to .NET, C#, WCF, WPF, WinForms, Entity Framework (EF) and LINQ; 2 years of experience with performance analysis tools such as ANTS, dotTrace; 2 years of experience using Microsoft SQL server, IIS and TFS; and 2 years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies.
