Role Summary: HR Welfare support for Factory Employees, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Individuals in this category act as the HR Manager for shopfloor employee client group. Job requires regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs. Elaboration of process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.
Essential Responsibilities: Individuals who are responsible for both Business Partnership and Employee Resource Management, providing the full range of HR support from organizational to individual and administrative. Effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives. Develops operational plan for own department. Contributions to plan of the larger unit. Need to have sound knowledge on Factories Act and also other Labor legislations. Should have at least 3 years of HR experience in a Factory set up and handling unionized sites would be an added advantage. He should be able to anticipate, handle and resolve shopfloor employee grievances effectively. Should be able to drive welfare initiatives and also negotiating the same with the union keeping the organization need in forefront.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources).
