Essential Responsibilities: GE Oil & Gas, LLC seeks a Senior Engineer – Design Engineering Management in Houston, Texas to provide technical support for the local Oil & Gas fleet installed ensuring the resolutions of technical issues. Assume local technical ownership over customer accounts. Execute, evaluate and analyze assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirements. Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project. Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any field), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree related experience. Position also requires 5 years of power plant or petrochemical plant engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
