Role Summary:
The Lead Margin Review Management Specialist will be partnering with the Customer Margin Review (CMR) leaders and service teams to support modelling and analytics around contract profitability. You will be responsible for maintaining the material models, parts list, & cost data for long term service agreements. This role is a great opportunity to build services expertise & hone project skills while driving business results & transformation.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Lead Margin Review Management Specialist will be responsible for interpreting and verifying the results of a durability engineers' future failure rate analysis by assigning costs and year over year frequency. In this role, you will work cross functionally to obtain and disburse information critical to your assigned components. 
  • Lead the CMR (Contract Margin Review) execution for the assigned components to ensure stakeholder engagement and on-time delivery of actions to the CMR 
  • Maintain material models to ensure the team has the most up-to-date & accurate frequency & productivity analytics, enabling GSO to meet or exceed material cost reduction targets 
  • Meet rigorous timelines to monetize the CMR / ACR frequency models 
  • Participate with the Operations and Technology (O&T) Team to help evaluate project impacts and identify new opportunities  
  • Participate in key business operating rhythms such as CMR, ACR, SII / Blue Print, and IOP 
  • Communicate & report CMR status & metrics to GSO leadership team on a weekly & quarterly basis 
  • Identify opportunities to reduce CMR cycle time & improve CMR analytics through technology & work with extended team to implement


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Contract / Technical Program execution or Financial Analysis


Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university 
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally 
  • Strong data analysis abilities
  • Strong experience working with complex Excel functions
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills 
  • Green Belt certification or equivalent Quality certification 
  • Product knowledge at a component level 
  • Field experience 
  • Financial background 
  • Standard cost setting expertise 
  • Component life and statistical analysis understanding 
  • Ability to take ownership and drive decisions 
  • Ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines 
  • Ability to use data analysis tools successfully 
  • Ability to drive simplification within the team and cross functionally 
  • Ability to take on special assignments, while still meeting assigned responsibilities
