Role Summary: This person will be accountable for a large Bio Process site focused on Cell Culture sale and production in Logan, UT. This position is responsible for developing a vision and leading plant-manufacturing operations around GE Healthcare imperatives. The incumbent should be able to influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization, functionally and cross functionally, including with senior leadership.
Essential Responsibilities: • Driving manufacturing team towards execution of Business Goals using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodology • Ensuring sufficient capacity exists to achieve all customer commitments per the strategy roadmap • Driving Product Quality, Six Sigma, Lean, e-Manufacturing, and Human Operating Performance (HOP) so that internal business metrics are met • Improving SCOT, CLT, PLT, and other customer metrics
Quality Specific Goals: • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements: • BS Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business. • 10 years management experience with proven leadership in manufacturing or supply chain role, with experience in large volume pharma production preferred.
