Role Summary: The Project Management Leader within Industrial Solutions plays an essential role in the growth of the business in this segment by providing a cohesive project management strategy to maximize project profitability and instill a relentless pursuit of process excellence to maximize the customer experience.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Project Management Leader, you will:
Lead the Industrial Solutions, Project Directors in NA region
Manage teams regionally for both local and cross pole projects, with focus in the Americas
Lead execution strategies and process excellence for all projects to ensure compliance to project contractual obligations' - i.e. full compliance with contract scope of supply and agreed technical requirements, timely delivery and quality as well as achievement of profitability expectations
Play a proactive role in preventing problems during the project life cycle by working cross functionally to solve systemic issues and develop better ways of doing business to prevent margin erosion and increase customer satisfaction
Develop metrics and measurement systems around project loading, project profitability, and the customer experience
Develop enduring faithful customer relationships
Ensure / improve profitability and timely execution of the overall Project Portfolio
Manage contractual risk across and balancing the needs of the customer with the needs of the company
Drive effective communication across the regions and business functions
Play a key role in maintaining a strong backlog for NA projects that is trustworthy for planning plant capacity
Lead Product Directors in end of quarter, end of year activities to delivery business results
Lead cross-functional development teams to create, develop and maintain processes and procedures
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years in an industrial industry including a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with Project Management and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer facing commercial role
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team
Fluent in English
Exhibits a High level of Emotional Intelligence in the presence of challenging situations
Good knowledge of Power Equipment products, processes, and solutions
Available to travel at short notice
Ability to Understand both customer and business operations with the ability to trouble shoot, solve problems and create solutions that benefit both customer and business
Strive for win / win outcomes during challenging situations
Ability to negotiate business needs while keeping customers loyal to the business. Has a Customer Centric behavior, is able to deal with complex Customers and meet specific requirements when needed
Strives for achieving the Project goals and Customer satisfaction
