Role Summary: Leverages deep process/domain expertise and partners with PO and technical development team. Influences key stakeholders in design, software, planning decisions. Drives product development that are targeted at a technical audience. Combines customer and Product vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional spec./user stories and prioritize needs. Coordinates work to deliver on higher level outcomes. Responsible for transparent delivery and focuses on execution.

Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback. Excellent client facing and communication skills.
Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products.
Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
Owns the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
Engages fully with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, software development, UX, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
Demonstrates expert persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
Demonstrates strategic expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity. Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
Mentors junior team members; Coaches others.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product
Must have or able to get a US Government Secret Clearance.
This role is restricted to a U.S persons (i.e. US citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3) due to access-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid technical background with hands on software development experience.
Ability to work independently and ability to document, plan and execute programs.
Experience working with Agile development methods.
Experience using automate testing methods and frameworks - JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Go Test, Go Mock, NUnit.
Experience with cloud deployment (Virtualization, High Availability, Security, Zero downtime deployment, AWS & Azure).
Working knowledge of following technologies: Java (Spring Framework, Mavern, SLF4J & Logback), Node.js (Polymer, Node express, Gradle, Grunt), Go (GorillaMux, Logrus, Glide), Predix (Cloudfoundry, UAA), Redis, Postgres, SQL Server, Kafka, Swagger, Docker, .Net
Occasional travel may be required.
Previous experience working US Military programs is beneficial.
