Role Summary: In this role, you will be a manufacturing process owner responsible for sustaining multiple processes and resolving day-to-day issues with immediate action. You will also be responsible for managing and executing multiple process improvement projects simultaneously. You will be focused on Eddy Current Transducer manufacturing as well as developing our Industry 4.0 “Brilliant Factory” initiative.
Essential Responsibilities: In the the role of Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Develop/document technical process expertise
Utilize Six Sigma tools and drive Lean activities to improve process control and process cycle time
Design, build, and document mechatronic processes/fixtures including tooling
Define and execute capital expenditures
Implement preventative and corrective process safety measures
Work in a professional manner with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Technology, Product Line, EHS, Quality, and external vendors
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field from an accredited college or university
Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma, mechatronics, and manufacturing process ownership is preferred
Strong mechanical CAD skills and practical mechanical/electrical aptitude
Basic electric/pneumatic circuit design skills
Skilled in developing automated process analytics using various data storage platforms
Ability to use a data-based approach to analyze problems and identify root causes
Strong organizational and project management skills
