Role Summary: Drives and establishes GE Digital operations in Russia and CIS region. Partners with business and functional leadership to build capabilities to deliver large scale projects in the region. Support GE businesses in their customer engagements. Establish working rhythm between global and regional teams to reflect local specifics in Predix cloud.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will: • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of digital initiatives • Evangelize GE products including cloud and applications on the regional market, drive efforts to create and maintain partnership ecosystem in the region. • Manage financial and resourcing constraints; define budgets and targets for individual projects and annual plans for the entire organization • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with leadership of technical and functional teams external to the organization to ensure sufficient support and engagement • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected • Manage executive stakeholder communication and progress reporting • Guide project teams through decision and pivot points as required
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 4 years of IT technical experience • Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management including large portfolio and financial management leading cross functional initiatives and large organizations • Deep understanding of cloud technologies and\\ or data center management and development • Successful experience in B2B environment • Proven leadership in dealing with customers from industrial sector • Fluent in both Russian and English languages • Hands-on experience in any of following will be an advantage: UNIX/Linux, virtualization, server consolidation, high load application deployment/development, software development.
Desired Characteristics: • Proven experience of working with executive-level stakeholders to define overall IT strategy and managing large portfolio of projects • Track record of driving IT innovation and technology-driven business outcomes • Experience managing budgets including annual budgets and large scale projects • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated • through training, job experience and / or industry activities • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives • Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly • PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
