Role Summary: • Be a change leader -- driving business process improvement using technology • Provide thought leadership & guidance to business team leveraging technology to enable competitive advantage for GE Healthcare • The individual will lead key digital transformational projects managing cross functional project teams.
Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. • Lead cross functional digital transformation programs. • Partners with APAC Businesses and function owners to develop business solutions and related technical requirements to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. • Responsible for his/her project teams following project management practices and improving the practice on the way. • Works on multiple medium-size projects impacting multiple domains, stakeholders. • Lead by engaging functional owners, project technical team and interdependencies team. • Responsible for business operational stability in APAC from digital tools standpoint. Drive resolution and help with business operations, in particular quarter close activities, to achieve business outcome without disruption (as when needed). • Drive culture of digital through tool adoption for business strategy and management.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Ability to work collaboratively in a Global matrix organization and with multiple stakeholders • Program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management • Experience with process quality methodology • Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority • Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese, and ability to influence at all levels in the organization • Excellent facilitation skills • Team player. Energizes peers and rallies team • Change driver. • BS Degree in Information Systems or related technical discipline or equivalent • Minimum 7 years of IT experience • Experience with Force.Com applications. Ability to learn other complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions • Be aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply in a specific country • Ensure annual Quality Goals are established for each individual on your team, as applicable • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines (personal and team, including contractors, as applicable) • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Develop quality culture within team, as applicable, assuring openness for employees to report issues and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives
Desired Characteristics: • Black Belt certified • MBA or equivalent • Leadership Training Program Experience (DTLP, OMLP) • Experience in the healthcare industry • Lean experience • PMP / ITIL certified
