Role Summary: This role is responsible for the leadership and orchestration of the development of multiple software applications in the Digital MRO space of the GE Aviation Digital portfolio. You will operate in lock-step with product management and the leadership team to evaluate concepts, propose solutions, create a clear strategic direction for build needs, and manage execution across multiple scrum teams.
In this role, you will:
Own the execution of development release plans that are aligned to product management roadmaps and business priorities
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable work through problem decomposition and planning
Implement metrics to inform the business on the health of product releases and development practices
Engage with the development teams; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, negotiate dependencies and priorities as well as contribute to design activities and decisions
Mentor team members
Drive collaboration across various practice areas such as UX, Architects, and IT demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product
Demonstrate excelling business acumen, knowing latest industry trends and be looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience
A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product.
