Role Summary: Manage enterprise SAP Governance including the following SAP technical services: BASIS, Security, Development, Integration and change/release management. Coordinate DevOps across various projects and operations for the overall SAP ecosystem. Partner closely with Infrastructure team to delivery consistent system availability and stability.
Experienced technical leader managing application technical services for enterprise SAP environment including SAP ECC, SCM, GTS, SolMan, PI, Enterprise Portal, on Oracle plus SAP BW on HANA. Technical services include, but are not limited to:
SAP BASIS – general system administration including operations and program delivery across production and non-prod platforms
SAP Security – role access and application security, including SOX controls & governance
SAP Solution Manager – Solution Manager used for system admin and governance control, including ChaRM.
SAP PI – Process Integrator used for majority of enterprise application integrations
SAP ABAP – SAP development & code quality
SAP Change/Release Management – overall responsibility for SAP CAB, release calendar and change process.
Leadership of other people leaders as well as senior-level Individual Contributors. This role is a technical leader within the function who provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to direct/indirect reports within broader team. This role also manages agile teams and provides leadership to indirect reports.
Must be a strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent strategic as well as technical influencing skills; ability to influence at the peer level is key. Should also be able to influence beyond the scope of immediate business segment, potentially across modalities and CoEs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines.
