Role Summary:
The Continuous Monitoring Risk Analyst will be responsible for measuring, tracking and reporting compliance of the network asset information to corporate security standards. The scope of the role includes maintenance of critical inventory information, report generation, defect tracking and issuing corrective actions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Utilize
    the service-now, Skybox, HPNA and other compliance tools to deliver reports and
    track defects against corporate standards.
  • Perform
    hands on data analytics around inventory and configuration data
  • Ensure
    consistency and correctness between configuration sources of truth and central
    repositories. Enable automation between these systems
  • Create
    software based solutions to automate risk management processess
  • Actively
    collaborate with GE businesses representatives in leading initiatives to
    correct data discrepancies
  • Streamline
    and automate auditing of processes related to building new connections and
    infrastructure
  • Oversee
    daily operations of compliance tools, ensure continued availability of
    responsible software/hardware systems



Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's
    Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or
    Engineering
  • 2+ years of strong IT experience, project management experience and program
    management
  • 1+ years of strong experience in telecommunications, networking services or data
    systems

Desired Characteristics:

  • Collegiate
    level instruction in Network Systems, IT Security, Programming or certification
    in these areas (CCNA, CISSP, GSEC)

  • Customer focused, able to understand the needs of the
    customer and deliver valuable risk intelligence
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills, communicates in a
    clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information to make
    decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
  • Data driven, able to work with large data sets,
    create/understand relationships and form actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated customer focus: evaluates decisions through the
    eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates
    processes with customer viewpoint
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with technical
    and non-technical communities, in particular strong executive-level
    presentation skills
  • Ability to influence peers and senior managers
  • Able to quickly establish credibility, confidence and
    respect with stakeholders and customers across organizational boundaries
