Role Summary: The Senior Network Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for measuring, tracking and reporting compliance of the enterprise network to corporate security standards. The scope of the role includes tool management, metric reporting, business facing support and solutions development to measure risk to the entire GE enterprise network.
Utilize the Skybox compliance tool to deliver reports and track defects against corporate standards.
Lead efforts in developing new solutions to measure risk to network device configurations
Lead network security analysis for acquisitions and divestures
Perform integration between disparate corporate network security systems
Actively collaborate with GE businesses representatives in understanding high risk configurations and providing remediation guidance to reduce risk to GE
Maintain software roadmap for network security compliance tools
Perform detailed configuration analysis of network systems to find high risk configurations
Oversee daily operations of compliance tools, ensure continued availability of responsible software/hardware systems
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university or the equivalent military or professional experience
Minimum 3 years of strong IT experience, project management experience and program management
Minimum 2 years of strong experience in telecommunications or networking services
Minimum 3 years of experience leading global/enterprise-wide initiatives
