Role Summary: Oracle Developer will be part of development team that supports all aspects of the Aviation ERP footprint and associated 3rd party integrated applications. The role will be responsible for technical deliverables and development as per GE and Oracle standards applying agile approach.
Essential Responsibilities: deliver technical solution and development on Oracle R12 instance according to best practices oriented development (data model knowledge, API driven development and coding starndards) in agile approach • Cooperate with Apps DBA teams • Collaborate with Oracle functional teams in scrum oriented environment - understand requirements and be able to describe complex technical solutions in a simple way
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with • 3 - 5 years of experience in Oracle application development or support • 2 - 4 years of experience in implementing and / or supporting Oracle E-Business Suite • Experience working with Oracle 10g/11g databases and development tools such as - PL/SQL, SQL, - Forms 10g /11g, - Reports 10g/11g, - BI / XML Publisher and Java - Oracle Application Framework (OAF), OAF page customization - Workflow builder - eBiz development experience in general - Linux / Unix shell scripting • Functional understanding of Order To Cash, Procure To Pay. Basic understanding of below modules - OM, INV, BOM, WIP, Service Management, Depot repair, Engineering, Quality, MES • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills that non-technical end users can understand, Strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills. • Ability to build positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients. • Excellent English (ability to lead meetings in English, ability to understand multilingual businesses, ability to explain solution and negotiate)
