Role Summary: Based in Solingen (Germany) and reporting to the Marketing Manager Ultrasound DACH this key role will support to plan, coordinate and manage execution of the Ultrasound Marketing strategy across DACH, in close collaboration with all Segment Managers. This person will ensure a strong and effective marketing mix across individual DACH countries, will maintain a deep understanding of the market opportunities and will support and drive key awareness & promotion activities.
Essential Responsibilities: The Marketing Communications Specialist Ultrasound DACH will interact with of the sales directors and their teams as well as with upstream functions inside and outside Ultrasound (at Country &Europe level), and will act both as a resource and as a coordinator for communications and marketing initiatives/activities. Furthermore the Marketing Communications Specialist will support to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy including Social Media. Traveling across DACH and Europe will be required.
In close collaboration with Segment Managers drive and execute initiatives to create leads by using various forms of interactions and communication & marketing activities with our installed base as well as with non GE customers. Continuously work on actions and processes to improve the amount and quality of leads.
Monitor trends in social media and other digital tools, applications, channels. Support to design and execute the digital strategy to support business growth.
Support to define and execute regional communication plans in close co-operation with regional segment leaders and the regional GM for marketing.
Create communication assets: collaterals, images and training tools/courses that can be deployed in the execution of regional communication plan.
Leverage market research to strengthen our understanding of the different markets and segments, and to identify market and adjacent opportunities in order to drive targeted marketing activities.
Consolidate competitive intelligence and initiatives. Suggest and run marketing activities with the Regional Segment Managers in order to respond and proactively act.
Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and develop/execute specific actions where needed to improve performance.
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business school, engineering or related field (not mandatory)
Preferred (not mandatory) experience in B2B Marketing
Marketing expertise in product commercialization, market insights capture and demand generation, as well as in monitoring and analyzing of marketing metrics.
knowledge on digital marketing: campaign management, search, social, content development and analytics
Good understanding in marketing automation tools like Marketo, SalesForceDotCom, or similar
