Role Summary: The Community Experience Project Manager will be part of an integrated facilities management organization within GE Healthcare Life Sciences. The individual will lead site related employee and customer experience projects as well as support day to day building management activities.
Essential Responsibilities: Community and user experience • Partner with various internal stakeholders to support a positive employee working experience; • Engage with a cross-functional team to experiment and implement innovative technologies and smart building strategies; • Proactively gather data on users’ business objectives and identify facilities services that could help users achieve their objectives; • Assist in design and implementation of social norms and best practices for the community to optimize user experience; • Ensure events/customer visit requirements are clearly identified and executed through integrated facilities management team; • Actively seek input from key stakeholders on ideas and enhancements to user experience; • Facilitate move-ins and move-outs for quality experience;
Building Management • Assist in defining the user needs in the building (Turning CTQ’s into definable, agreed deliverables); • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors; • Partner with Sourcing on various initiates; • Assist in developing Plant and Equipment (P&E) and expense budgets for the proposed projects; • Make recommendations to space and on any repairs, maintenance, or updates required in your building; • Manage conference room & guest hotels in the GAL;
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and two years of project management experience; or an associate degree and minimum of five years of project management experience. • Minimum of two years’ experience leading cross -functional teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a matrix environment. • Ability to work with and influence team members to achieve mutual goals. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications. • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Desired Characteristics: • Proficiency in AutoCAD. • Six Sigma certification and/or experience in Lean methodology or CAP. • Must be willing to work many projects with many users at the same time.
