Role Summary:
As Engineering Leader for CCS Digital & Analytics applications team you will lead a high performing team to define and deliver Analytics applications and Digital solutions for solving some of the toughest customer problems in Healthcare. You are expected to bring in strong healthcare domain knowledge, functional management skills & modern software development practices to lead this premiere team.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Engineering Leader – CCS Digital & Analytics, demonstrates ability to lead a high performing team to focus on customers challenging problems & define solutions demonstrating Digital & Analytics tools and techniques including Machine learning. The leader should be able to work with global cross functional teams to deliver solutions to meet customer needs and meet broad business/company objectives. The leader is expected to be highly inclusive and should demonstrate capability to initiate, develop and execute objectives for self and others and also help contribute and influence business strategy.

In this role, you will:
- Demonstrate very strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of product development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution
- Responsible for building & nurturing a premiere digital, analytics application team to develop solutions to be deployed on medical device product lines.
- Influence & lead where necessary on decision making through active partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Drive increased cross modality leverage eliminating duplication and drive product platform and technology reuse and drive process improvements and simplification.
- Deliver resource strategy and plans, including use of 3rd parties/partners, etc., in support of development and support activities
- Plan and lead budgets for the function.
- Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE leadership. Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Software Product/Application Development.
- At least 3+ years of experience in people leadership role. Shown ability to attract, retain & develop key and diverse talent. Shown ability to coach, guide and mentor teams.
- Experience in complete medical device development life cycle from requirement generation to product release.
- Experience in Scaled Agile framework, Software Development Lifecycle processes and software quality management, effort estimation, planning and delivery of Software.
- Experience in partnering with external software design services team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to independently work with multiple global partners. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Desired Characteristics:
Qualification or Familiarity with one or more of the following will be a plus
- Experience in Medical Device or applications development, experience in defining & developing S/W platforms to meet multiple objectives will be a plus
- Demonstrated experience in working with global cross functional teams
- Experience in leading a team in developing/deploying applications on cloud infrastructure
