Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for developing robust test solutions and related test activities leveraging existing/new technologies, test automation and agile testing practices. Responsible for full test lifecycle such as developing, maintaining and execution of both manual & automated test cases. Write acceptance tests while code is being written. Interface with developer & Product Owner to ensure user story is understood & acceptance tests track desired functionality of the story. Test code against the acceptance tests. Check test cases into Source Code Management tool every day. Develop ongoing test automation to integrated acceptance & component tests into the continuous testing environment. Collaborate with System Integration & Test team for overall Integration & System Testing. Develop & run automated & manual test procedures/test cases.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field, and 4 years of experience in related software development or software testing occupation required. The position also requires 2 years experience with Software Development Lifecycle & Automated testing; 1 year experience in Object Oriented design methodology & various programming/ scripting languages including Java, C++, or Python; 1 year experience with Source Code Management Tools (Perforce/SVN/Git), software debugging tools, emulators etc; 2 years experience working as part of Agile Scrum Teams; 1 year experience with Test Driven & Acceptance Testing/Behavior-Driven Testing concepts.
